As a tribute to Italian documentary maker Gualtiero Jacopetti, who passed away in August, we are pleased to present a 35-mm copy of Mondo cane, co-directed with Jacopetti, Paolo Cavara (Black Belly of the Tarantula) and Franco Prosperi (The Seventh Woman). In the running for the Palme d’Or in 1962, the cult film is made up of a series of vignettes, most of them real, showing various shocking, bizarre and perverse cultural practices from around the world — from an insect banquet and a South Pacific cargo cult generic propecia online within canada to scenes of cruelty to animals.
