The MMA-inspired pic is a kinetic tale of two brothers (Nathan Grubbs and Marc Senter, the latter of Simon Rumley’s Red, White & Blue) who find themselves bloody-torso-deep in a vicious, bone-breaking, jaw-smashing and life-taking underground “fight club” set on mafia-run riverboats in New Orleans. Brawler marks the second outing between director, Chris Sivertson and Senter who worked previously together on the Jack Ketchum adaptation, The Lost.
