In Memory of John Dunning

It is with great sadness that we learned of John Dunning‘s passing earlier this week. A titan of Canadian independent filmmaking – his company with Andre Link, Cinepix, gave us Valerie, L’Initiation, Shivers, Rabid, Meatballs, My Bloody Valentine and more – Dunning had a drive and creative spark that brought Canadian cinema out of the didactic and onto the world cheap discount levitra stage. We had the great pleasure of being able to honour John Dunning and his partner Andre Link with a Lifetime Achievement Award at Fantasia this past summer, and although Dunning was too ill to attend the ceremony in person, we have attached here both the Cinepix Tribute video that screened at the ceremony, which features an exclusive interview with John, as well as the festival overview of days 7+8 that features footage of the ceremony itself. John’s passing is a tremendous loss to the film community and we only hope that other Canadian filmmakers and producers can learn from his example to carry on cialis prescription his remarkable legacy.
